Handwritten clock

Had the handwritten clock embedded at one point, however the load time on it became much too long. You can still find it at the link below.

This is a really good idea.

This website is like those “Choose Your Own Adventure” books popular in the 80’s (at least at my school). As you read the story you are presented with 2 choices, each of which leads to different consequences. The great part is that when you reach the end of the thread that you were following, you are asked to write the next step in that thread. Collective storytelling!

And they told me that the world was an uncaring place.

I started to not post this site because the front page is rather sad and neglected looking, showing only the ten most recent posts. However, if you click on the “View All Posts” link in the middle of the page, it strikes me as a bit more entertaining.

Land of the Truly Bizarre

The Japanese are truly clever little devils. Just think, without them we never would have had pocket radios that actually fit in your pockets. And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg as far as Technology that owes its very existence to that little island. However, there seems to be a price for such technical prowess; those people are frickin’ weird.

Who else would hire Joe Isuzu to sell anything? Okay, I know that Jeff would, but that’s beside the point. Jeff also tried to build his own mech in his backyard. I was just fine with that until he asked me if I’d perform the trepanation so he could install his “Mental Uplink” to run the thing. That’s where I had to draw the line.

I guess it only makes sense that since the Japanese gave us the CD player that they should be the first to sacrifice a slice of bologna to it. Maybe that’s where CD players came from. Can’t you just imagine someone trying to come up with the next logical step to the disappearing bologna trick and thinking, “hey what if I make the thing play music before slurping up a piece of heavily processed meat?” Makes complete sense to me anyway.

Come back tomorrow and hear Jeff’s Mech rendition of “Muskrat Love”, truly something to behold.
