Jeff spent his weekend locked up in his cage, as usual, this past weekend.
The good thing about that is it affords Jeff a lot of time to think about the state of the world and his place in it. Hence, the repitition of thoughts for the day. And what glorious thoughts they were.
Jeff has occassionally pointed out the feeling that something wasn’t quite right based solely on the fact that he thought he was done with one project or another. And, sure enough, he had forgotten something. The most notable is when he worked at the zoo and thought that he was done with the days work, only to discover in the morning, that he had forgot to check the lock on the lion’s cage. The zoo garnished his wages to pay for replacement peacocks for nearly a year after that.
Jeff also has access to a large personal library, and so he knows the mind of the bibliophile. I think that may be why he hasn’t gone completely insane because of work and the weekends in his cage. As long as there is new first edition to be found, then he always has something to look forward to.
Tune in tomorrow when Jeff exposes the world’s only bibliophile elephant and the trainers that feed her.
