Drunken Pumpkin

I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.

Jeff was on the prowl for conspiracies yesterday, and, sure enough, he found them. If you look hard enough at anything you can find a conspiracy.

I wonder if his thought of the day is some kind of hint. I’ve been pretty hard on Jeff as of late and he might be reminding me that I’m only tolerated under duress. I know he lists the comment as anonymous, but I would guess that it came from Ambrose Bierce. And Jeff and Bierce always fought like cats and dogs back in the good old days. Jeff would say something nice about the world and Bierce would call him a nancy. That sounds a little too familiar.

The pole vault was one of Jeff’s favorite competitions in track. And the best way to stay on top of that sort of thing is to weed out the competition. So, I think Jeff’s goal is to discourage others from partaking in this dangerous activity. I know it worked on me.

But at least Jeff managed to achieve his goal. Unlike the goalie in the last vid. Rather poor planning on his part.
