You might have noticed that the Pumpkin has been a little thin over the last week or so. I would like to blame the internet for that. It seems that we may have come to the end, and we’ll have to start the trip home and pick up any stragglers that may have been missed on the first pass through.
Part of the problem might be that Jeff feels compelled to hit the print button on any page that he finds interesting, instead of bookmarking like a normal person. You should see his house. Any part of it not taken up with giant electromagnets or trebuchet models is filled with printouts of webpages. You should see his collection of Mpgs as flip books, really quite the sight to behold.
I think his predilection towards quotes may also be an outgrowth of his printing fetish, after all, he can fit quite a few of those things onto a single piece of paper. However, I’ve pointed out that a lot of those were originally in books that he already owns. His normal response is that quotes are better from the internet, because more people have seen them that way. Sometimes it’s best not to argue.
Tune in tomorrow for more stuff in the printed archives of Jeff and his obsession with animals in swimming pools.
