Can you help put us in contact with Abigail Elizabeth McIntyre, who wrote Summer, and also wrote Winter? We want to talk to her about including some of her work in our new literary magazone Tavern (www.thetavernmagazine.com)
The truth is, I believe this to be a fictitious person.
There is no record, including phone and postal, of any person by this name. This person does not have a webpage, even on MySpace, despite the wide dispersion of her poem Winter over the internet which appears at a glance to have been circulating the internet since Sept. of ‘06.
Based on my research, Winter and Summer (Summer just began circulating this year) are the only two ‘poems’ attributed to this writer. Both are structured very much like a comedic joke, including a punchline that draws much of its humor from its vulgar disparity with most people’s concept of poetry.
Thanks for the question, hope it helps, let me know if there is any other information you need.

I know this is probably way too much interest, but do you recognize the drawing? It looks familiar. Thanks.

Actually, I had the same thought but never looked any further. After a quick search of the web, I’m no wiser.
The image included in this post was the same image that I received alongside the poem via email - it fit, so I included it.
If I do find a source, I’ll let you know. If you find the source of the picture, please let me know so that I can credit them here.
