Quoting

Jeff’s real goal yesterday was to make my life difficult. Really.

Not only was there just the one post, but that single post was all about taking responsibility for your own life. See, what he was doing was making it difficult, if not impossible, for me to shift blame for a pathetic, or non-existent, post from me today onto him. But I’m too clever to allow that little ploy to work. I know how Jeff’s mind works, that’s why I’m able to do this most every day.

You see, Jeff is the fellow that inspired all of those silly traps that Stan Lee devised for Spiderman back in the 60s. You know, stuff like Spidey has to choose between saving Aunt May or the World. But somehow Spiderman always pulled through and saved them both. Amazing.

Anyway, clearly Jeff thought he could put me between a rock and a hard place, but he was wrong. A lesser mind would have been tripped up by such a ruse, but when you see it for what it is, there’s nothing there to worry about.

So, Jeff wasn’t busy, he was just making my life complicated, as if I needed any help there.

Tune in tomorrow for more content, more comic book references, and more zombie santas.

A Superhero in Disguise

Jeff was taken in by a clever disguise yesterday. While it looks like that squirrel is giving a high five to a vagrant, in reality one of those two is a Superhero.

The easy assumption might be that perhaps the old guy is actually some kind of Beastmaster or a telepath that can only talk to animals, the truth is far stranger. The squirrel is actually Batman. I know, I was taken in by the clever ruse myself at first, but there are a couple of things that give it away. Mainly, I’ve never seen a squirrel with ears like that. They look just like the ears to Batman’s cowl. And second, he is not about to congratulate that chap for getting close to a squirrel, he is in a fighting stance. He has his power leg slightly back and his right hand back, ready to strike, with his left hand up and in a defensive position. That fellow is ready to kick some bottom. And thus, the squirrel is really Batman.

And the video is a PSA to mind the skateboarding oompa loompa, and not eat too many sweets.

Tune in tomorrow for more fun with superheroes covered in fur.

It will never be the same again

We of the Drunken Pumpkin have been trying our best to bring you the most unusual, bizarre, work friendly material that we can find available on the ‘net.

Today marks the dawning of a new era, as from this point out we will be seeking to bring you the second most unusual, bizarre, work friendly material available on the ‘net, because I am not sure if we will ever find anything quite as odd as this.
