I like how Jeff’s quote for the day was really just making light of my pain. If I had not learned the lesson of Ed Gruberman, I too might receive a boot to the head. Especially considering Jeff’s awesome powers that have been outlined elsewhere on this site. I find it a pity that Russian spies have not learned this fundamental lesson on the path to Enlightenment. Don’t they know not to walk into a room with Russian Agents and officials from Scotland Yard? That’s just the setup for a very bad joke, or a very bad day.

And speaking of Bad jokes, make sure you check out the rest of the shaggy dog story. I think that in those Jeff is outlining his own counter-torture tactics. If you tell enough bad jokes they’ll either let you go or just kill you and have done with it. Remember that the next time you find yourself secreted away for all of those terrorist acts. You know the ones I’m talking about. Don’t think I don’t know where that shopping cart came from.
