Santa Wages
I could see why Jeff might be averse to confronting a Mall Santa after that shocking display on video. But you only know half of the story. Jeff used to work as a Mall Santa, and he said it was actually part of the contract that you could get a few kicks in in the event of stopping a shoplifter. That’s why Christmas has become such a commercial affair over the last decade or so. Santa’s are encouraging a lust for goods, knowing full well that the little tikes can’t afford them, and so someone is going to steal them. After that, it’s just a matter of time before the unlucky devil is running past the Santa’s platform and then the real compensation for being a Santa kicks in, so to speak.
Jeff has a big weekend ahead of him. Just listen to the Statler Brothers song he posted. That’s quite the laundry list of things to do. See if you can keep up.
