Conspiracy theory of the week ~ GWB’s grandfather funded the Nazi party

More than 60 years after Prescott Bush came briefly under scrutiny at the time of a faraway war, his grandson is facing a different kind of scrutiny but one underpinned by the same perception that, for some people, war can be a profitable business.

Winter house cleaning ~ re-posting of the Worms video game

I posted this game back in August of last year. Since that time that post became an increasingly used portal for spam-bots. It wasn’t the most popular post that I have ever put up, but I do know that we have had some visitors who have downloaded the game and try my best to make sure that once you find material here it continues to be available should you ever come back looking for it.

So, in an attempt to foil spam-bots I’ve deleted the original post and am re-issuing it here. Click on the picture to download a zip file containing the game.

This game is presented here as abandonware (meaning that the developer of this game no longer provides support nor attempts to market or sell the game). It does require installation on your computer in order to play.

The Original Worms game for PC

For anyone who has not seen this game before (it’s possible!), the premise is simple and succinct. You are in charge of a team of crack commando worms (yes, the little pink wriggly things) and are trying to defeat one or more opposing teams of worm warriors. Since worms are not naturally aggressive, you are aided in your efforts by getting to choose from an arsenal of weaponry such as bazookas, grenades, machine and hand guns, baseball bats, banana bombs, and exploding sheep.

Makes sense, right?

Update: In a continued effort to foil spambots I have removed the ability to post comments to this page. If you have a comment you would like put on this page, click on contact us and email your comment to us.
