GUATEMALA CITY - Mayan priests will purify a sacred archaeological site to eliminate “bad spirits” after President Bush visits next week, an official with close ties to the group said Thursday.

“That a person like (Bush), with the persecution of our migrant brothers in the United States, with the wars he has provoked, is going to walk in our sacred lands, is an offense for the Mayan people and their culture,” Juan Tiney, the director of a Mayan nongovernmental organization with close ties to Mayan religious and political leaders, said Thursday

Was sent a link to the following, a list of things that a soldier by the name of SPC Schwarz apparently compiled during his time with the army, documenting what he was specifically told he was not allowed to do by the US Army.

According to the site where this list was found, they had rescued it and reposted it after the site that it had originally been posted on fell into disrepair and eventually vanished. While I cannot verify the existence of SPC Schwarz, the list is undeniably worth reading.

1. Not allowed to watch Southpark when I’m supposed to be working.

2. My proper military title is ‘Specialist Schwarz’ not ‘Princess Anastasia’.

3. Not allowed to threaten anyone with black magic.

4. Not allowed to challenge anyone’s disbelief of black magic by asking for hair.

5. Not allowed to get silicone breast implants.

6. Not allowed to play ‘Pulp Fiction’ with a suction-cup dart pistol and any officer.
