Settling in

Well, the moving thing is almost at an end. All we really have left is to clean up the old apartment in the vain hope of getting our deposit back. I guess it’s also a good idea to clean up the apartment just to avoid leaving behind traces of our activities. I’m certain all of those chicken feathers and bits of hoof would have the landlord questioning how seriously we took that “no pet” policy.

And of course we also have to scour our soul out of the old place. I would hate it if I accidentally spawned a poltergeist that those that came after us would have to deal with. I prefer that sort of thing to happen on purpose.

Another exciting tidbit that happened over the weekend was that I challenged my friend Bob to generate a little creative work over the course of the week. I also threatened him with bodily harm if he failed to comply. Now, Bob is a bit bigger than I am, so that threat may be just as vain as my hopes of getting back my deposit, but I’m a little faster than he is, so we’ll just have to see. Maybe we’ll be in luck and we’ll have the camcorder out and about for that exchange and Drunken Pumpkin will have a little something in the way of original content.

Tune in tomorrow as I reveal my plans for this summer’s guerilla art projects in the works.
