Apologies, as promised

On Sunday, June 9th Pyrophage made a commitment in good faith. He stated that we would be posting an original short film on July 20th, which as of minutes ago is now yesterday. He also stated the following…

Seriously, next Friday check us out and you’ll see some actual original content, or you’ll here an audio message from that unnamed actor saying “I’m sorry” in a variety of silly voices.

And so here it is. My apologies. Well, some apologies at least.

Michael Jesus Archangel

I find one of the most entertaining candidates in the 2008 race to be Michael Jesus Archangel. I’m linking back to the Politics1 website instead of Mike’s own site because, quite frankly, his site is completely unreadable. You can follow the link on the Politics1 site if you so desire and see this train wreck of html, but I seriously discourage it.

The snippet from his biography that is really quite entertaining is: “From the time I was a little boy I knew I was God and Michael the Archangel” which is pretty damn funny. I didn’t know that Michael was a part of god. That one is news to me.

I like this guy, because I can’t tell if he is genuinely a loony, or if it’s all just some incredibly weird ruse to get attention. If you do happen to go to his site (really. don’t.) the bulk of the page (that you can actually read anyway) is dedicated to selling his book. I can’t even imagine what a book by this guy would be like.

The biggest letdown for me is the fact that his website is such an unreadble abomination. Anyone that walks around claiming to not only be the son of god, but god and one of his angels, has to be a hoot. I think there’s a law or something. But from the way he presents himself he isn’t eccentric, he’s mad as a hatter and should probably be put away for his own good.

Well, after a little searching I found a bit of Michael’s site fit for human consumption, well, almost. Dig that lovely moustache.

In retrospect, I probably should have chosen a different chap to talk about. I can’t say anything about this guy. He’s crazy. And that’s pretty much that.

Tune in tomorrow for live viewing of me reading Harry Potter. Not really, but that’s pretty much what I plan to be up to.

Maybe it’s good to be surprised at what comes out of you. As long as, you know, it’s not a vital organ of some sort.

A Look at the Dems

Really, the Democrats appear to have about three viable options for the Presidency. And I’m pretty sure their really only viable because the Republicans are throwing out some pointless crap at present.

First up we have Hillary Clinton. I know, most folks would say she did a pretty good job last time, so maybe she’s still up to the challenge of running the free world. I don’t know. I still have some issues with a woman president. And I really have issues with having yet another family start up it’s own Presidential empire.

Next up is Barack Obama. He scares me just a little bit. I picked up his book about his career in politics and it was a little light. Frankly, I’ve seen more text in a Playboy special edtion than in this chaps autobiography. I think it’s great to have a fresh face in politics, but I think the GOP will really take him to task on the fact that he has been in politics for less than a decade. Couple that with the fact he has been pushing pretty heavily for the presidency almost since he started in politics. I like the thought of a candidate with new ideas, but I’d like him to have had time to ruminate on those ideas for a little while.

Last, and probably least, is John Edwards. Husband of Cancer girl. Sympathy can only take you so far. I don’t see it carrying him to the White House.

Well, the meters running and I’ve got errands to run. Look for a wide variety of silly voices tomorrow, as pick up photography seems to have fallen through for this week. But soon. I hope.
