Like the time he called the meat dept of an A&P grocery and complained about his "chicken kit." He did it with a really thick Pogo-esque drawl, and had the meat dept manager in fits. Purtan complained that his "chicken kit" had too many legs, and not enough heads to put the chicken together right, and that he couldn't get superglue or epoxy to make the parts stick.
