Drunken Pumpkin

I spend a certain amount of time each week reviewing what links have led people to the Drunken Pumpkin. It’s always useful to know what types of material people are looking for as well as seeing where and when people are posting links to our site in various forums. Over the past week or two we’ve had a noticeable number of people searching Google for Calvin and Hobbes pumpkins and arriving at our site. We have had no Calvin and Hobbes pumpkins on our site, but have made various other references to Calvin and Hobbes over the past year or two and when including the word ‘pumpkin’, it’s kind of certain that they would check our site when it comes up in the search results.

In the interests of providing the people what they want, I went ahead and tried my hand at pumpkin sculpting. It doesn’t include Hobbes, but hey, what do you want from me? It’s free for you and was my first attempt. May try to get a pumpkin done with both Calvin and Hobbes on it before long. Included are both day and night shots so you can see it in all it’s glory.

Dear Ask a Trucker,
Several years ago my partner and I prepaid for our burial (casket, plot, etc.). I have recently become concerned that we may be exiled from the country due to…well that is a security matter. So, I have two questions. One, if exiled, will we still be able to use the burial plot? Two, if we are unable to use them (burial plot/casket), what do I do with them? I have asked about getting a refund, however the purchase is nonrefundable.
Any help would be really great.

Well, the movie is finally in something of a finished state. Jeff or I will be posting it to YouTube at some point after we get the logo burned into that bad boy. That oughta help the traffic a little. But I wanted to get it up on the site as soon as possible, so you guys get a view without the opening logo. At least for now.

Music is a mutilated version of Holst’s “The Planets”. And the story was based on Angrybob’s proclivity to violence.

Well, two weeks later here’s another podcast. I present for your approval a brief discussion of Mystery Spots. I am sad to say that it is still just me and no Jeff on this one. We’re working on how to get both of us on there, but the fact that we live an hour or so apart and have trouble scheduling meetings in the real world has kept us from doing these things together, which was the initial plan.

We’ve taken some liberties with our first podcast (hey, it’s ours - we can take all the liberties we want with it!). Below is the same podcast, new and improved, now filled with visual incongruities!!

As promised last week here is the long threatened podcast. This go round it’s just me there, but I hope to drag Jeff into this as soon as we sort out how to do that.
